The Friends of Phil is dedicated to fostering community connections through service and support of the Brevard Philharmonic. We invite you to join us in fun, fellowship, and meaningful engagement with our mission. As a member, you’ll have exclusive access to events designed for Friends of Phil members, and you’ll receive a membership directory to easily connect with others and get involved.
Our volunteers play a vital role during concert week, providing meals for musicians and refreshments for concert attendees. We also assist in arranging housing for some of our musicians—a unique opportunity to build personal connections with these talented artists.
Beyond our outstanding concerts, the Brevard Philharmonic is committed to enriching the lives of children in Transylvania County. Our professional musicians and artistic director offer special presentations to all elementary and middle school students at no cost. Supporting the Friends of Phil means supporting these invaluable educational programs. One area where you can make a difference is by volunteering at the Porter Center during these presentations.
Friends of Phil supports the orchestra and its outreach programs with proceeds from membership dues. It is also a great way to get involved if you are interested in volunteering for the orchestra. Let us know what works best for you.
