DYI provides band instruments to Brevard Middle School, Brevard High School, and Rosman Middle/High School bands for the use of those students who cannot afford their own. DYI also provides stringed instruments for Rosman's Appalachian Music Studies classes and Mountain School of Strings.
To date more than 100 donated instruments have been refurbished/repaired.
Our desire is to serve even more students.
Emmet recently made his sold-out debut at New York’s Carnegie Hall.
His Irish album debuted at #1 on the Billboard World Music Charts with Sony Music USA. Recent appearances include: The Today Show, New York’s St Patrick’s Cathedral, US Pentagon, Atlanta symphony hall, and Pensacola Christian College.
Emmet hails from Mullingar, Ireland, and is the lead singer with PBS phenomenon Celtic Thunder.
